| Fencing is
a European Martial Art which evolved in the late sixteeth century.
It is a sport which needs no special physical attributes to be a
successful participant. Fencing requires patience, concentration
and self-awareness. It's rewards are: self-reliance, self-confidence,
self-control and emotional strength for a healthier lifestyle. Fencing
is a lifetime sport which has often been desribed as the physical
version of chess. |
| Since its
origins in medieval combat, never has fencing enjoyed such popularity.
Modern fencinghas a diverse following, being an Olympic sport, and
vehicle for personal fitness. |
| Fencing is
a graceful, fast-moving, and exciting sport; and is a terrific workout
for both the body and the mind. It develops agility, concentration,
speed, and timing. More importantly, however, fencing is fun! |
| Enjoyed by
men, women, and children of all ages and levels of fitness, this
action-packed sport provides a choice of weapons: foil, epee, or
sabre, each having its own separate rules and style. |
| Fencing lets
you experience the art of swordsmanship while developing a well-toned
body. People who try fencing for the first time find that it is
like no other sport they have ever tried before. Join the millions
